A Child Has Been Born: The Light of the World

The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy.

But,

In the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children shall always have a place of refuge. Reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death. [John 4:10, 14.]            Proverbs 14:10, 26-27 AMPC

For a child was born, a child that bring salvation, so

..Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people.  Luke 2:10 AMPC

But, but…

Where is He Who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east at its rising and have come to worship Him. [Num. 24:17; Jer. 23:5; Zech. 9:9.] When they saw the star, they were thrilled with ecstatic joy.  Matthew 2:2, 10 AMPC

Know, have strong confidence, for

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great Light; those who dwelt in the land of intense darkness and the shadow of death, upon them has the Light shined. [Isa. 42:6; Matt. 4:15, 16.] You [O Lord] have multiplied the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before You like the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil [of battle]. For the yoke of [Israel’s] burden, and the staff or rod for [goading] their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor, You have broken as in the day of [Gideon with] Midian. [Judg. 7:8-22.] For every [tramping] warrior’s war boots and all his armor in the battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood shall be burned as fuel for the fire. For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. [Isa. 25:1; 40:9-11; Matt. 28:18; Luke 2:11.]  Isaiah 9:2-6 AMPC

Therefore with joy will you draw water from the wells of salvation. And in that day you will say, Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name and by means of His name [in solemn entreaty]; declare and make known His deeds among the peoples of the earth, proclaim that His name is exalted!  Isaiah 12:3-4 AMPC

For it was written, confirmed, established, and made complete

… that the Christ (the Messiah) should suffer and on the third day rise from (among) the dead, [Hos. 6:2.] And that repentance [with a view to and as the condition of] forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Let Him be praised, for

Then He conducted them out as far as Bethany, and, lifting up His hands, He invoked a blessing on them. And they, worshiping Him, went back to Jerusalem with great joy; And they were continually in the temple celebrating with praises and blessing and extolling God. Amen (so be it).  Luke 24:46-47, 50, 52-53 AMPC

For so the Lord has charged us, saying, I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles (the heathen), that you may bring [eternal] salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth. [Isa. 49:6.] And when the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified (praised and gave thanks for) the Word of God; and as many as were destined (appointed and ordained) to eternal life believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Jesus as the Christ and their Savior). And so the Word of the Lord [concerning eternal salvation through Christ] scattered and spread throughout the whole region. And the disciples were continually filled [throughout their souls] with joy and the Holy Spirit.  Acts 13:47-49, 52 AMPC

For the Word is true!

THE Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad! The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which comes from consciousness of His favor and protection]. Rejoice in the Lord, you [consistently] righteous (upright and in right standing with God), and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness. Psalm 97:1, 5, 11-12 AMPC

People!

O CLAP your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy! For the Lord Most High excites terror, awe, and dread; He is a great King over all the earth. The princes and nobles of the peoples are gathered together, a [united] people for the God of Abraham, for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.  Psalm 47:1-2, 9 AMPC

Yes,

Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually! Honor and majesty are [found] in His presence; strength and joy are [found] in His sanctuary. Ascribe to the Lord, you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength, Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Bring an offering and come before Him; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and in holy array. And say, Save us, O God of our salvation; gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name and glory in Your praise.      1 Chronicles 16:11, 27-29, 35 AMPC

For,

I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my [spiritual] children are living their lives in the Truth.  3 John 1:4 AMPC

Yes, be awake and alert, for

Deceit is in the hearts of those who devise evil, but for the counselors of peace there is joy.  Proverbs 12:20 AMPC

With your whole heart,

Buy the truth and sell it not; not only that, but also get discernment and judgment, instruction and understanding.

For,

The father of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall greatly rejoice, and he who becomes the father of a wise child shall have joy in him.

Yes, so

Let your father and your mother be glad, and let her who bore you rejoice.

Please,

My son, give me your heart and let your eyes observe and delight in my ways,  Proverbs 23:23-26 AMPC

For,

Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous–with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven! Matthew 5:3 AMPC

For the first and principle commandment is,

And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. [Deut. 6:4, 5.]  Mark 12:30 AMPC

So, believe the Good News,, a child has been born, Christ has come, His Love sets us free

And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.  1 John 4:16 AMPC
