At their creation, male and female, were equally created in the image of God, and God Himself, called them both Adam, or Man. It was the male Adam, when given the responsibility to name God’s creations, that called the female Adam, woman and named her Eve.
THIS IS the book (the written record, the history) of the generations of the offspring of Adam. When God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female and blessed them and named them [both] Adam [Man] at the time they were created. Genesis 5:1-2 AMPC
And Adam gave names to all the livestock and to the birds of the air and to every [wild] beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh. And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. Then Adam said, This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man. Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. [Matt. 19:5; I Cor. 6:16; Eph. 5:31-33.] And the man and his wife were both naked and were not embarrassed or ashamed in each other’s presence. Genesis 2:20-25 AMPC
God’s work is for the complete restoration of man and all of creation, for things to be as He designed them to be at the time of creation. He does not grow tired. He is faithful.
The heavens praise your wonders, Lord, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. Psalms 89:5 NIV
