You who turn justice into [the bitterness of] wormwood and cast righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) down to the ground, Seek Him Who made the [cluster of stars called] Pleiades and [the constellation] Orion, Who turns the shadow of death or deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, Who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out upon the face of the earth–the Lord is His name– Amos 5:7-8 AMPC

For, God’s justice is not sourced in judgement but in His Hesed, His love.  Therefore, He,

…God does not take away life, but devises means so that he who is banished may not be an utter outcast from Him.  2 Samuel 14:14 AMPC

For the word of the Lord is right; and all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the loving-kindness of the Lord. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You.  Psalm 33:4-5, 9, 22 AMPC

In our waiting, in our long suffering, we participate in the suffering of Christ, and in so doing, make way for God’s justice to,

run down like waters and righteousness as a mighty and ever-flowing stream.  Amos 5:24 AMPC

Go then, make a way,

…Arise, journey on before the people, that they may go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.   And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you but [reverently] to fear the Lord your God, [that is] to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being.  Your fathers went down to Egypt seventy persons in all, and now the Lord your God has made you as the stars of the heavens for multitude.  Deuteronomy 10:11-12, 22 AMPC
