Let Go, Let God:  The House that Jesus Built, A Firm Foundation

Now Hiram the king of Tyre sent messengers to David with cedar trees, carpenters, and stonemasons; and they built a house (palace) for David. And David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted his kingdom for His people Israel’s sake.  2 Samuel 5:11-12 AMP

For the Lord had said to David,

…‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel. I have been with you wherever you have gone and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make you a great name, like that of the great men of the earth. I will appoint a place for My people Israel and will plant them, so that they may live in a place of their own and not be disturbed again. The wicked will not afflict them again, as formerly, even from the day that I appointed judges over My people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. The Lord also declares to you that He will make a house (royal dynasty) for you. When your days are fulfilled and you lie down [in death] with your fathers (ancestors), I will raise up your descendant after you, who shall be born to you, and I will establish his kingdom. He [is the one who] shall build a house for My Name and My Presence, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.  2 Samuel 7:8-13 AMP

Today, this is being fulfilled, yes,

In Him, Christ Jesus, [and in fellowship with one another] you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.  Ephesians 2:22 AMP

How lovely are Your dwelling places, O Lord of hosts! My soul (my life, my inner self) longs for and greatly desires the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God. Blessed and greatly favored are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; They will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah. They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; Each of them appears before God in Zion. O Lord of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation].           Psalms 84:1-2, 4, 7, 12 AMP

Believe this,

For [of course] every house is built and furnished by someone, but the Builder of all things and the Furnisher [of the entire equipment of all things] is God.  Hebrews 3:4 AMPC

.. Moses was faithful in [the administration of] all God’s house, [but only] as a ministering servant,

[his ministry serving] as a testimony of the things which were to be spoken afterward [the revelation to come in Christ];  BUT

Christ is faithful as a Son over His [Father’s] house. And we are His house if we hold fast our confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ]. Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as [your fathers did] in the rebellion [of Israel at Meribah], On the day of testing in the wilderness, Therefore I was angered with this generation, And I said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they did not know My ways [nor become progressively better and more intimately acquainted with them]’; Take care, brothers and sisters, that there not be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to trust and rely on the Lord, a heart] that turns away from the living God. For we [believers] have become partakers of Christ [sharing in all that the Messiah has for us], if only we hold firm our newborn confidence [which originally led us to Him] until the end.  Hebrews 3:5-8, 10, 12, 14 AMP

For,

… you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God. …the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.                             1 Corinthians 6:11, 17 AMPC

Yes,

Through [skillful and godly] wisdom a house [a life, a home, a family] is built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation], And by knowledge its rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge strengthens his power; For by wise guidance, you can wage your war, and in an abundance of [wise] counselors there is victory and safety.  Proverbs 24:3-6 AMP

And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.  Matthew 7:25 AMPC

Yes,

Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.  Psalm 23:6 AMPC
