The Government Will Be On His Shoulders

After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness). …the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the Head of the church, Himself the Savior of [His] body.  Ephesians 5:23

…for he (the husband) is the image and [reflected] glory of God [his function of government reflects the majesty of the divine Rule]; but woman is [the expression of] man’s glory (majesty, preeminence). [Gen. 1:26.] Nevertheless, in [the plan of] the Lord and from His point of view woman is not apart from and independent of man, nor is man aloof from and independent of woman; For as woman was made from man, even so man is also born of woman; and all [whether male or female go forth] from God [as their Author].  1 Corinthians 11:7, 11-12 AMPC

Paul’s charge,

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word,                      Ephesians 5:25-26 AMPC

Yes,

…BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. Ephesians 5 1

For it is for,

this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. [Gen. 2:24.]  Ephesians 5: 31 AMPC

Yes,

…let each man of you [without exception] love his wife as [being in a sense] his very own self; and let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband [that she notices him, regards him, honors him, prefers him, venerates, and esteems him; and that she defers to him, praises him, and loves and admires him exceedingly]. It was thus that Sarah obeyed Abraham [following his guidance and acknowledging his headship over her by] calling him Lord (master, leader, authority). And you are now her true daughters if you do right and let nothing terrify you [not giving way to hysterical fears or letting anxieties unnerve you]. In the same way you married men should live considerately with [your wives], with an intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but [realizing that you] are Joint Heirs of the grace (God’s unmerited favor) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off. It’s true, in many ways,

Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor;  Ecclesiastes 4:9 AMPC

…A man can receive nothing [he can claim nothing, he can take unto himself nothing] except as it has been granted to him from heaven. [A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source.]…

Rejoice in anticipation!

What more could we ask then to hear well done beloveds?

For,

What a cacophony of mirth it will be, a group of ladies comparing their beloveds,

What is your beloved more than another beloved, O you fairest among women [taunted the ladies]? What is your beloved more than another beloved, that you should give us such a charge? May we as a nation never hear

…This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or receive instruction and correction and warning; truth and faithfulness have perished and have completely vanished from their mouths. Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land will become a waste.  Jeremiah 7:28, 34 AMPC
