Thank you Jesus for Your Resurrection Power
For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 AMP
Believe then, for
…great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are [worthless, lifeless] idols, But the Lord made the heavens. Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; Tremble [in submissive wonder] before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns; Indeed, the world is firmly and securely established, it shall not be moved; He will judge and rule the people with fairness.” …He is coming, For He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness. Psalms 96:4-5, 7, 9-10, 13 AMP
Therefore be prudent,
…when the righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits sin and acts in accordance with all the repulsive things that the wicked man does, will he live? All of his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered because of the treachery that he has committed and for his sin which he has committed; for them he shall die. “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each one in accordance with his conduct,” says the Lord God. “Repent (change your way of thinking) and turn away from all your transgressions, so that sin may not become a stumbling block to you. For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!” Ezekiel 18:24, 30, 32 AMP
I testify,
If Your law had not been my delight, Then I would have perished in my time of trouble. You (Jesus) are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word. Leave me, you evildoers, That I may keep the commandments of my God [honoring and obeying them]. My eyes anticipate the night watches and I awake before the call of the watchman, That I may meditate on Your word. Psalms 119:92, 114-115, 148 AMP
The call to repentance and confession of Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the Son of God is for all of creation.
..since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] grace, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, whom God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving] sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be received] through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness [which demands punishment for sin], because in His forbearance [His deliberate restraint] He passed over the sins previously committed [before Jesus’ crucifixion]. Romans 3:23-25 AMP
God declares,
He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].” And He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I will give [water] from the fountain of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:5-8 AMP
Remember it is God who gives you life.
…the Father raises the dead and gives them life [and allows them to live on], even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment [that is, the prerogative of judging] to the Son [placing it entirely into His hands], so that all will give honor (reverence, homage) to the Son just as they give honor to the Father. [In fact] the one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him. “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins—the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life. John 5:21-24 AMP
For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him… This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. John 3:17, 19 AMP
…He, well aware of their thoughts and purpose, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is doomed to destruction; and a house divided against itself falls. When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his belongings are undisturbed and secure. But when someone stronger than he attacks and overpowers him, he robs him of all his armor on which he had relied and divides his [goods as] spoil. He who is not with Me [believing in Me as Lord and Savior] is against Me [there is no impartial position]; and he who does not gather with Me [assisting in My ministry], scatters. Luke 11:17, 21-23 AMP
Mourn the dead. Pray on their behalf. God cares and responds to all who believe in Him as Savior.
Brave people were robbed. They died. None of the warriors were able to lift a hand. At your stern warning, O God of Jacob, chariot riders and horses were put to sleep… You (oh God) alone must be feared! Who can stand in your presence when you become angry? From heaven you announced a verdict. The earth was fearful and silent when you rose to judge, O God, when you rose to save every oppressed person on earth. Selah Even angry mortals will praise you. You will wear the remainder of ⌞their⌟ anger. Make vows to the Lord your God, and keep them. Let everyone around him bring gifts to the one who must be feared. Psalms 76:5-11 GW
On You, God, Maker and Creator of Heaven and Earth, on You we rely.
Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation; You have established the earth, and it stands [securely]. They continue this day according to Your ordinances, For all things [all parts of the universe] are Your servants. Psalm 119: 90-91
