Three Witnesses on Earth: the Spirit, the Water, and the Blood ——- One Promise

Then one of the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] said to me, Stop weeping! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root (Source) of David, has won (has overcome and conquered)! He can open the scroll and break its seven seals! [Gen. 49:9, 10; Isa. 11:1, 10; Rev. 22:16.] And [now] they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation. [Ps. 33:3.] Saying in a loud voice, Deserving is the Lamb, Who was sacrificed, to receive all the power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and majesty (glory, splendor) and blessing!  Revelation 5:5, 9-9, 12 AMPC

Everyone who believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born-again child of God; and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him (His offspring). For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]? This is He Who came by (with) water and blood [His baptism and His death], Jesus Christ (the Messiah)–not by (in) the water only, but by (in) the water and the blood. And it is the [Holy] Spirit Who bears witness, because the [Holy] Spirit is the Truth. So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One; and there are three witnesses on the earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree [are in unison; their testimony coincides]. 1 John 5:1, 4-8 AMPC

What?  How can it be?!

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the Sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown … This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.  But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.  Genesis 6:4, 9, 11-14,18 NIV

Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.” Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth. And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood. Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah. And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth. For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits. Then God said to Noah, “Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.  Genesis 8:15-16 NIV

Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” Genesis 9:1, 11 NIV

For,

….it shall be that when I bring clouds over the earth and,

the bow [rainbow] is seen in the clouds,

I will [earnestly] remember My covenant or solemn pledge which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy and make all flesh corrupt.  Genesis 9:14-15 AMPC

At once I came under the [Holy] Spirit’s power, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with One seated on the throne! [Ezek. 1:26.] And He Who sat there appeared like [the crystalline brightness of] jasper and [the fiery] sardius, and encircling the throne there was a halo that looked like [a rainbow of] emerald. [Ezek. 1:28.]  Revelation 4:2-3 AMPC

And I looked and saw there a white horse whose rider carried a bow. And a crown was given Him, and He rode forth conquering and to conquer. [Ps. 45:4, 5; Zech. 1:8; 6:1-3.]  Revelation 6:2 AMPC

For,

The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of His unfailing love.  Psalms 33:5 NIV

…in (His) majesty (He) ride(s) on triumphantly for the cause of truth, humility, and righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God);… let Your right hand guide You to tremendous things. Your arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under You; Your darts pierce the hearts of the King’s enemies. Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.  Psalm 45:4-6 AMPC

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.  Psalms 89:14 NIV

For, your mercy and loving-kindness are great, reaching to the heavens, and Your truth and faithfulness to the clouds.         Psalm 57:10 AMPC

Praise Jesus,

For Christ [the Messiah Himself] died for sins once for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous (the Just for the unjust, the Innocent for the guilty), that He might bring us to God. In His human body He was put to death, but He was made alive in the spirit, In which He went and preached to the spirits in prison, [The souls of those] who long before in the days of Noah had been disobedient, when God’s patience waited during the building of the ark in which a few [people], actually eight in number, were saved through water. [Gen. 6-8.] And baptism, which is a figure [of their deliverance], does now also save you [from inward questionings and fears], not by the removing of outward body filth [bathing], but by [providing you with] the answer of a good and clear conscience (inward cleanness and peace) before God [because you are demonstrating what you believe to be yours] through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Yes!

The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.  Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.  Psalms 97:1-2 NIV

For it is He who in His mercy,

… holds the waters bound in His clouds [which otherwise would spill on earth all at once], and the cloud is not rent under them. He covers the face of His throne and spreads over it His cloud. He has placed an enclosing limit [the horizon] upon the waters at the boundary between light and darkness. By His breath the heavens are garnished; His hand pierced the [swiftly] fleeing serpent. [Ps. 33:6.]  Job 26:8-10, 13 AMPC

Smoke went up from His nostrils, and devouring fire from His mouth; coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens and came down; thick darkness was under His feet. He rode on a cherub and flew; He was seen upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness His canopy around Him, gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies. Out of the brightness before Him coals of fire flamed forth. He sent out arrows and scattered them; lightning confused and troubled them.  2 Samuel 22:9-13, 15

For [Christ] must be King and reign until He has put all [His] enemies under His feet. [Ps. 110:1.] The last enemy to be subdued and abolished is death.  I Cor. 15:25-26

Yes,

…by [His clouds] God executes judgment upon the peoples; He gives food in abundance.  Job 36:31 AMPC

Praise God, for He declares,

I have blotted out like a thick cloud your transgressions, and like a cloud your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.       Isaiah 44:22 AMPC

Don’t hesitate then, ask for the rain in good measure all for the promise remains: He will no more destroy the earth with water.

In loving kindness He makes for all peoples,

.. lightnings which usher in the rain and give men showers, and grass to everyone in the field.  Zechariah 10:1 AMPC

Yes, He promised for all,

…I will respond, says the Lord; I will respond to the heavens [which ask for rain to pour on the earth], and they shall respond to the earth [which begs for the rain it needs],  Hosea 2:21 AMPC

I will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.  Deuteronomy 11:14 AMPC

Sing therefore,

Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully [on the strings] with a loud and joyful sound. For the word of the Lord is right; and all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the loving-kindness of the Lord. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth. [Heb. 11:3; II Pet. 3:5.] For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The Counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart through all generations. Our inner selves wait [earnestly] for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield.
