An old time favorite song…The Family of God
‘Now, you’ll notice we say “brother and sister” around here. It’s because we are family…the family of God. We have been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood.
Join heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod
From the door of an orphanage to the house of a king, no longer an outcast A New Song we sing.
From rags unto riches, from the weak to the strong. We are not worthy to be here but thank God we belong.
I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God with these folks so dear.’
So, yes! Go ahead,
Go ahead—sing your new song to the Lord! Let everyone in every language sing Him a new song. Psalms 96:1 TPT
“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to Me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” Matthew 11:28-30 TPT
When peer pressure compels you to go with the crowd and sinners invite you to join in, you must simply say, “No!” But the one who always listens to me will live undisturbed in a heavenly peace. Free from fear, confident and courageous, you will rest unafraid and sheltered from the storms of life. Proverbs 1:10, 33 TPT
Gaze upon Him, join your life with His, and joy will come. Your faces will glisten with glory. You’ll never wear that shame-face again. But the Lord has paid for the freedom of His servants, and He will freely pardon those who love Him. He will declare them free and innocent when they turn to hide themselves in Him. Psalms 34:5, 22 TPT
Let everyone everywhere join in the crescendo of ecstatic praise to Yahweh! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Psalms 150:6 TPT
Let the skies sing for joy! Let the earth join in the chorus. Let oceans thunder and fields echo this ecstatic praise until every swaying tree of every forest joins in, lifting up their songs of joyous praise to him! For here he comes, the Lord God, and He’s ready to judge the world. He will do what’s right and can be trusted to always do what’s fair. Psalms 96:11-13 TPT
