Heart Health: Whole and Complete

For as long as I can remember, if I doodled anything on paper as a kid, it was always a broken heart with a bandaid.  I’m not sure if this was because I can’t draw, and hearts are easy, or if there was something deep in me that realized I was not whole.

Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people restored? [Because Zion no longer enjoyed the presence of the Great Physician!] [Exod. 15:26.] Jeremiah 8:22 AMPC

Yes, down to this [very] day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies upon their minds and hearts. But whenever a person turns [in repentance] to the Lord, the veil is stripped off and taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). [Isa. 61:1, 2.]   2 Corinthians 3:15-18 AMPC

We arrive at wholeness when the veil of separation between us and God is removed.  Jesus is the bridge between us and God.  When we accept for ourselves His Righteousness, He is faithful to heal our souls.

But seek (aim at and strive after) First of All His Kingdom and His Righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.  Matthew 6:33 AMPC

You can be assured,

They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing. He who goes forth bearing seed and weeping [at needing his precious supply of grain for sowing] shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.  Psalm 126:5-6 AMPC

Because,

… when Jesus saw their faith [their confidence in God through Him], He said …..your sins are forgiven [you] and put away [that is, the penalty is remitted, the sense of guilt removed, and you are made upright and in right standing with God].  Mark 2:5 AMPC

And they will be My people, and I will be their God. And I will give them One Heart and One Way, that they may [reverently] fear Me forever for the good of themselves and of their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will not turn away from following them to do them good, and I will put My [reverential] fear in their hearts, so that they will not depart from Me. [Jer. 31:31-34.] Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly and in truth with My Whole Heart and with My Whole Being.       Jeremiah 32:38-41 AMPC

Thank you God …

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.  Isaiah 53:5 AMPC
