Growing in Faith

What condition is your faith muscle in?  Faith grows and develops when we put all our weight on Jesus, like a push up, with him as the rock foundation.  We may like to smell like roses but engaging your faith muscle is a sweaty, smelly business.

Jesus said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can tell a mountain to move from here to there and it will, but even he sweat drops of blood before going to the cross.

Hebrews 11:6 says ‘without faith, it is impossible to please God’…(for) Faith is the currency of heaven!  — Jentzen Franklin

Jesus looked straight at them and answered, “This is impossible for human beings, but for God everything is possible.”  Matthew 19:26 GNTD

And so we cry out,

(Jesus) Have pity on us and help us, if you possibly can!  Yes, said Jesus, “if you yourself can! Everything is possible for the person who has faith.”  Mark 9:22-23 GNTD

Jesus is not a jeanie in a bottle.  Our faith is to be active and engaged.  A collaborative dance with the lover of our soul.
