Creator and Restorer

…[before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6.]  John 1:1 AMPC

…God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. [Heb. 11:3.]  Genesis 1:1 AMPC

Yes,

THE HEAVENS declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows and proclaims His handiwork. [Rom. 1:20, 21.]  Psalm 19:1 AMPC

Worthy then,

Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and dominion, for You created all things; by Your will they were [brought into being] and were created. [Ps. 19:1.]  Revelation 4:11 AMPC

Yes,

God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have Complete Authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. [Ps. 104:30; Heb. 1:2; 11:3.]  Genesis 1:26 AMPC

Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. [I Cor. 15:45-49.]   Genesis 2:7, AMPC

In Him (the Lord God) was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it and is unreceptive to it].  John 1:4-5 AMPC

For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). [Prov. 8:22-31.]  Colossians 1:16-17 AMPC

Now,

…the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.  Genesis 2:15 AMPC

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, you may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.  Genesis 2:16-17 AMPC

Then

… the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh. And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. Then Adam said, this [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man. Genesis 2:21-23 AMPC

Now as the story goes, Eve was deceived by the serpent, Satan, to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and then she shared it with Adam.  As a result, they both lost close fellowship with God and were removed from the garden, Adam to toil the land and Eve to have painful childbearing.

So, upon leaving the garden Adam names the woman,

The man called his wife’s name Eve [life spring], because she was the mother of all the living.  Genesis 3:20 AMPC

And as a confirmation of God’s faithfulness, we learn, in the declaration of the serpent’s punishment how an Offspring will arise to restore humanity to God:

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel. [Gal. 4:4.]  Genesis 3:1-6, 15 AMPC

Did you hear that?  An announcement of Restoration of all humanity and creation! Through the woman, Mary, would come the Restorer of all mankind, the Creator, the Lord God Himself, the Light of the World, the Word, Jesus the Son of the living God would crush Satan’s head, and Satan would bruise His heal.

The promised Offspring:

And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace (free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God. And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus. He will be great (eminent) and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His forefather David, And He will reign over the house of Jacob throughout the ages; and of His reign there will be no end. [Isa. 9:6, 7; Dan. 2:44.] For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.  Luke 1:30-33, 37 AMPC

There it was–the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person. [Isa. 49:6.] …to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name–[Isa. 56:5.]  John 1:9, 12 AMPC

So,

Apply your mind to instruction and correction and your ears to words of knowledge.  Proverbs 23:12 AMPC

Making your ear attentive to skillful and godly Wisdom and inclining and directing your heart and mind to understanding [applying all your powers to the quest for it]; Yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, If you seek [Wisdom] as for silver and search for skillful and godly Wisdom as for hidden treasures, Then you will understand the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of [our omniscient] God. [Prov. 1:7.] For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with Him); He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in integrity, That He may guard the paths of justice; yes, He preserves the way of His saints. [I Sam. 2:9; Ps. 66:8, 9.] Then you will understand righteousness, justice, and fair dealing [in every area and relation]; yes, you will understand every good path. For skillful and godly Wisdom shall enter into your heart, and knowledge shall be pleasant to you. Discretion shall watch over you, understanding shall keep you,  Proverbs 2:2-11 AMPC

Yes, Lord God,

… You have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me. You sift and search out my path and my lying down, and You are acquainted with all my ways. Your [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high above me, I cannot reach it. Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. [Rom. 11:33.] If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me and the night shall be [the only] light about me, Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You. [Dan. 2:22.] I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.  Psalm 139:1, 3, 6-12, 14 AMPC

For,  ..(I myself, Paul, beseech you, by the gentleness and consideration of Christ [Himself; I] am zealous for you with a godly eagerness and a divine jealousy, for I have betrothed you to one Husband, to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. [Hos. 2:19, 20.] But [now] I am fearful, lest that even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, so your minds may be corrupted and seduced from wholehearted and sincere and pure devotion to Christ. [Gen. 3:4.]  2 Corinthians 11: 1, 2-3 AMPC

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through [the full, personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they again become entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition is worse [for them] than the first. For never to have obtained a [full, personal] knowledge of the way of righteousness would have been better for them than, having obtained [such knowledge], to turn back from the holy commandment which was [verbally] delivered to them.  2 Peter 2:20-21 AMPC

And so faith, hope, love abide [faith–conviction and belief respecting man’s relation to God and divine things; hope–joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love–true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.  1 Corinthians 13:13 AMPC
