From One Foot to Another
Pray God will set straight paths for your feet, consecrate yourself to Him, and expect the coming healing
Desire is not a bad thing. It’s a force or energy.
Desire can propel you toward God and your destiny, or it can lure you away from God.
The direction of desire as a force in motion is entirely determined by an individual’s submission to the Lordship of Christ in life.
The fabric of a nation is its communities, and the fabric of our communities is the families that comprise our communities.
There is a ripping, and a tearing at the very fabric of our society through this battle for our minds and hearts, controlling the will and purposes we align ourselves with.
Lord Jesus! We pray for the good, the advancement, and the abundant living you promise to our nation, our communities and our families when we set our feet on straight paths. Light our paths Lord. Compel our hearts to seek after, to run after what You desire. We pray for national awakening. We pray for life over death.
But EVERY person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire. Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death. James 1:14-15 AMPC
For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. Romans 8:5 AMPC
For being ignorant of the righteousness that God ascribes [which makes one acceptable to Him in word, thought, and deed] and seeking to establish a righteousness (a means of salvation) of their own, they did not obey or submit themselves to God’s righteousness. Romans 10:3 AMPC
Establish my steps and direct them by [means of] Your word; let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Psalm 119:133 AMPC
And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame and halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured. Hebrews 12:13 AMPC
I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Romans 12:1 AMPC
