Breath of Heaven – Light of the world – God’s sacrificial offering – Peace unto us
In the very beginning the Living Expression was already there. And the Living Expression was with God, yet fully God. They were together— face-to-face, in the very beginning. And through his creative inspiration this Living Expression made all things, for nothing has existence apart from him! Life came into being because of him, for his life is light for all humanity. And this Living Expression is the Light that bursts through gloom— the Light that darkness could not diminish! For the Light of Truth was about to come into the world and shine upon everyone. And so the Living Expression became a man and lived among us! And we gazed upon the splendor of his glory, the glory of the One and Only who came from the Father overflowing with tender mercy and truth! And now out of his fullness we are fulfilled! And from him we receive grace heaped upon more grace! Moses gave us the Law, but Jesus, the Anointed One, unveils truth wrapped in tender mercy. John 1:1-5, 9, 14-14, 16-17 TPT
The light of God’s love shined within us when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor. But if we love one another, God makes his permanent home in us, and we make our permanent home in him, and his love is brought to its full expression in us. And he has given us his Spirit within us so that we can have the assurance that he lives in us and that we live in him. For he has given us this command: whoever loves God must also demonstrate love to others. 1 John 4:9-10, 12-13, 21 TPT
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah is God’s spiritual child and has been fathered by God himself. And everyone who loves Father God loves his children as well. This is how we can be sure that we love the children of God: by having a passionate love for God and by obedience to his commands. True love for God means obeying his commands, and his commands don’t weigh us down as heavy burdens. You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. So, who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:1-5 TPT
For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 TPT
“Your lives light up the world. Let others see your light from a distance, for how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? Matthew 5:14 TPT
Then Jesus said, “I am light to the world and those who embrace me will experience life-giving light, and they will never walk in darkness.” John 8:12 TPT
Therefore,
24 The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord lift up his countenance[c] upon you and give you peace.
27 “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.” Leviticus 7:24-27
